Monz Avenue on Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs of 2009

It has been quite surprising that this blog, Monz Avenue, was included by Reesie on her list of nominees for the “Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs of 2009”. Whoahaha! That was totally unexpected. When I started blogging, all that’s in my mind was just to have something sensible to get busy with during my most idle moments. Little did I know that one day, I would be considered somehow “influential” in this so-called blogosphere. A very pleasant surprise indeed.

Thank you very much Reesie! You have no idea how much impact you have made to my inflated ego. Hehe. Seriously, I am more than glad to know about this nomination. I am not expecting to win but the fact that I got nominated is already an achievement to me. Naks! Cheesy... LOL

For those who are not yet familiar to this contest, here goes the mechanics:

“People with a scarcity mentality tend to see everything in terms of win-lose. There is only so much; and if someone else has it, that means there will be less for me. The more principle-centered we become, the more we develop an abundance mentality, the more we are genuinely happy for the successes, well-being, achievements, recognition, and good fortune of other people. We believe their success adds to...rather than detracts from...our lives.” – Stephen R. Covey
