Top 5 Most Searched Personalities of the Week

As I was checking out Google Trends and Yahoo Buzz index, I saw these 5 interesting personalities who are highly searched on the web. Hence, I have decided to create my own list of top 5 most searched personalities of the week.

First on the list is Jennifer Joanna Aniston or commonly known as Jennifer Aniston who established her acting career in the 1990s with her role as Rachel Green in the U.S. sitcom Friends, a role for which she won an Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award.

Why is she famous?

Well, she has starred in Hollywood films. While most of her film roles have been in comedies such as Bruce Almighty, Office Space, The Bounty Hunter, and Marley and Me, and romantic comedies such as Along Came Polly, The Break-Up, and He's Just Not That into You, she has also appeared in films from other genres such as the horror-comedy Leprechaun, the crime thriller Derailed and the musical drama Rock Star.

Getting personal at Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer admits that she is growing increasingly depressed over the state of her love life. The actress — who has dated a string of Hollywood bachelors since her 2005 divorce from Brad Pitt — is said to be down in the dumps due to her inability to find the man of her dreams.

At 41, it's been rumored that she’s becoming very depressed that every man she dates ends up letting her down. Just like any other decent woman, she wants to have a baby and a man to spend her life with.
“I’ve had some wonderful experiences,” she said earlier this year. “I hope I’ve reached a point where I’m ready to enjoy being with a great man and having a family together. That’s always been my dream.

“Love is the beginning of the process that draws you together, but the intensity and the nature of love is something that evolves as well."

The former Friends beauty has previously hit out at the rumors romantically linking her to Scottish actor Gerard Butler — her costar in upcoming movie The Bounty Hunter.

On the other hand she's also launched her newest perfume, Lolavie, which roughly translates into "laughing at life."

The bottled perfume will cost between $46.50 and $61.95 and be released first in the UK this June.

Jennifer posed naked for her perfume advertisement

It can be remembered that Jennifer posed nude with only a necktie covering her parts for GQ magazine cover in the year 2008, now she posed nude again for her perfume advertisement.  A source told PopEater: “Being naked was all Jennifer’s idea. She is a marketing genius. Have you ever noticed how Jen is always rumored to be dating when one of her new movies debuts? Jennifer knows exactly how to get attention and uses it to her advantage.”

Second on my list is Christina Hendricks (born May 3, 1975) is an American actress best known for her starring role as Joan Holloway in the AMC cable television series Mad Men, and as Saffron in Fox's short-lived series Firefly.

Why is she famous?
Hendricks was recently named "the sexiest woman in the world" in 2010 by Esquire magazine.

Christina Hendricks combines the voluptuous curves and ample bosom so admired back in the 1960s with the sassy attitude that drives men crazy today. Add in a mane of fiery red hair and a fashion sense that does nothing to hide her assets, and you can see why this young lass has so captivated men of all ages. Size zero models take note -- Christina Hendricks may be starting something here.

Before Mad Men came along, AMC was a forgotten cable channel known for showing black and white movies no one really wanted to watch. However, their fortunes changed when they followed HBO’s business model and began producing original programs, including the aforementioned Mad Men. Christina Hendricks’ rare combination of serious acting chops and head-turning good looks is a big reason for its wild success. The show has garnered numerous Emmys and Golden Globes, and made this actress a star.

The producers of AMC’s ambitious new show Mad Men needed a certain type of actress to play the seductress secretary Joan Holloway -- someone with brains, boobs and bravado. They found her in Christina Hendricks. She mastered the hip-heavy “shuffle” of screen sirens like Marilyn Monroe, and used the costume department to its fullest to emphasize her physical gifts. However, real success came from the fact that she fell in love with the role.

She continues to win rave reviews as the show enters its 3rd season. The producers are so impressed by her work that they have elevated her character to more of a main player than simply a piece of eye candy, a testament to this talented woman’s skill and professionalism (and, yes, her jaw-dropping curves). Third is Dorothy Irene Height (March 24, 1912 – April 20, 2010)[1] was an African American administrator, educator, and social activist. She was the president of the National Council of Negro Women for forty years, and was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1994, and the Congressional Gold Medal in 2004. Height died at 3:41 a.m., said hospital spokesman Ron Harris. No cause of death was given.

Height, who had been chair and president emerita of the National Council of Negro Women, worked in the 1960s alongside civil rights pioneers, including the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., future U.S. Rep. John Lewis and A. Philip Randolph. She was on the platform when King delivered his "I Have a Dream" speech at the 1963 March on Washington.

President Obama called her a hero and the "godmother" of the movement, noting she "served as the only woman at the highest level of the civil rights movement -- witnessing every march and milestone along the way." Source: CNN

Fourth on my list is Keith Elam, the Gang Starr Guru. After more than a month of undergoing surgery after a heart attack and battling a fight against the disease, Gang Starr’s MC Guru has died of cancer-related causes on April 19 of this year at the age of 43. He became popular with the name Guru, which is an acronym that stands for Gifted Unlimited Rhymes Universal.

It can be noted that he has been fighting a stage 3 cancer. He even suffered cardiac arrest last February 8, and has consequently been in coma. After keeping his illness as a secret to the public, most especially to his fans, he was admitted to hospital in the early part of 2010 because of serious effects triggered by the disease he had. And last but not the least is Gary LeVox (born Gerald Wayne Vernon, Jr.; July 10, 1970) is the lead vocalist of American country trio Rascal Flatts. His stage name literally means "Gary the Voice", a name he lifted from the studio-console label for his lead-vocal track.

LeVox was born in Columbus, Ohio. Before he became famous, he worked at MRDD in downtown Columbus. Gary's first musical performance was at the age of eight, in a play at his church. Gary graduated from Olentangy High School and is an alumnus of The Ohio State University. Prompted by his cousin, LeVox moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 1997. LeVox and his second cousin, Jay DeMarcus, started out together in Chely Wright's band. One day, when the regular guitarist wasn't available, Joe Don Rooney stepped in. The three men say they felt the chemistry immediately.
